Audiko
“audiko is a simple service which helps you to make a ringtone of your favorite song!” Plus there’s quite the selection of ringtones there already, in MP3 format, as well as m4r for your iPhone. Totally free. (Until the RIAA overlords come crashing down upon it, that is…)

Billy Graham on technology, faith and suffering | Video on TED.com
“Speaking at TED in 1998, Rev. Billy Graham marvels at technology’s power to improve lives and change the world — but says the end of evil, suffering and death will come only after the world accepts Christ.” Set aside half an hour of your time and watch this.

An Enduring Measure of Fitness: The Simple Push-Up – New York Times
“The push-up is the ultimate barometer of fitness. It tests the whole body, engaging muscle groups in the arms, chest, abdomen, hips and legs. It requires the body to be taut like a plank with toes and palms on the floor. The act of lifting and lowering one’s entire weight is taxing even for the very fit.”

Editorial Observer – Losing Private Dwyer, War Hero – Editorial – NYTimes.com
“Pfc. Joseph Dwyer was a model of the strength and selflessness of the American soldier fighting in Iraq. But it was post-traumatic stress disorder and addiction that eventually killed him.” Please, please, please, servicemen and women: seek help if you need to. You’ve certainly earned it.

Web Worker Daily » Archive Who Owns Your Online Documents? «
“One thing that’s clearly missing is any sort of backup guarantee. While you may feel more secure storing your documents on Google’s or Zoho’s or Adobe’s servers than your own, that security is not something that you’re promised. Any of the three can lose your documents or terminate your ability to get to them at any time for pretty much any reason, and you’re out of luck. So if you do put important things online – back them up somewhere else.”

AT&T lets you keep old iPhone to use as iPod touch – I4U News
“AT&T lets you keep old iPhone to use as iPod touch.” I had originally planned to give my original iPhone to a friend, but I don’t think he wants it now that the screen is spiderwebbed. Using it as an iPod touch after I upgrade to the iPhone 3G sounds good.

Brand New: Less Hyphen, More Burst for Walmart
Walmart has a new logo. At first glance, it reminds me of WaMu’s logo, though on careful examination, you can clearly see the differences in the two typefaces. I do think the spacing between letters in the new logo is too close, however.
