Had to run up to Denton to pick up an item. Made my pilgrimage to the nearest Buc-ee’s, as required by Texas state law.
I am sad for the Astros, my first baseball love, but happy we got to have another World Series in Texas.
May the Rangers figure out how to host those type of games again.
I am happy (and sad) for my sister-in-law, because her husband would have LOVED the Braves' WS win.
I am happy for Ron Washington, that he got to win the championship that eluded him in Texas.

My parents were in town this weekend. Yesterday they got to watch their youngest grandchild play in goal, then score goals in a lacrosse tournament. Today, they got to watch their oldest grandchild’s hockey team knock off the number 2 team in the division.
